Courtney R. Young was born, baptized, and raised in Minnesota. She graduated from St. Olaf College in 2008 with a BA in English. She graduated from Luther Seminary in 2012, receiving an M.Div. with an emphasis in Congregational Mission and Leadership. She lives out her calling as a bi-vocational pastor and stay-at-home mom. She is passionate about better integrating faith life with people’s daily life. She was called to LuMin in St. Cloud in 2015, a ministry in transition where she was tasked with developing a building-less ministry model. She was ordained later that year within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. She served LuMin in St. Cloud for five years. She currently lives in Richfield, MN with her husband, her two children, her two cats, and a half dozen house plants.
